Queer Wave exclusively sources through one collective in Honduras called Catracha, which as well as producing delicious coffees, runs a non-profit investing in long term opportunities for the community without taking resources from the farmers’ bottom line. This coffee was grown in Santa Elena, La Paz by five small-scale producers. Named after the flower used by the Aztecs for rituals, Marigold is light and bright with notes of crisp green apple, wildflower honey, and creamy peanut butter. We found it to be super structured in its mouthfeel: tealike, slightly floral and fluffy, with a nice accenting tangerine note at the end.
